CertainTeed will host us for lunch and an educational session , ‘Understanding & Improving Indoor Air Quality’, at the Monterey Cookhouse.
Kristi Davis, CSI/CDT, will explain how sustainable buildings are addressing indoor air quality (IAQ) to enhance the comfort of occupants, what airborne pollutants and chemicals are associated with adverse health effects, how to design appropriate remediation strategies for those common contaminants, and what some of the emerging technologies are that can capture contaminants.
Kristi is the Strategic Account Manager of CertainTeed Gypsum, and has been in the construction industry since 1988. She has worked for CertainTeed in Phoenix, Philadelphia, and Chicago, prior to coming to California. She is based in Southern California, promoting CertainTeed Gypsum’s specialty products to builders, building owners, and designers. During her tenure at CertainTeed she has worked in several divisions, including Ceilings, Fire Rated Glazing, and Gypsum. Ask Kristi about her grandson, Cole – he won the 2011 National Disney Baby ‘Little Characters’ Contest, which earned him a $10,000 scholarship and a role on the ABC Family channel show ‘Baby Daddy’.
