The Monterey County Resource Management Agency is ready to assist those impacted by our Monterey County wildfires. If your property was damaged or destroyed by the River, Carmel or Dolan fires and you plan to seek permits for reconstruction or repair, the Monterey County Resource Management Agency is ready to assist you with the permit process. There are also additional resources available:
- Visit Monterey County’s fire information website: www.co.monterey.ca.us/2020Fires. There are resources for returning home after a fire, post fire clean up and rebuilding and federal assistance.
- Contact Freda Escobar, RMA Permit Coordinator, (831) 784-5689 or email: [email protected] to advise if you plan to purse building permits for fire repair. The RMA has assigned a single point of contact to personally track properties impacted by the fires to ensure the permit process runs smoothly.
- Work with your insurance company, architect, designer and/or contractor to evaluate and plan your repair or reconstruction.
