Special Program! COTE Presents Sustainability in Action Home Tour, May 14th

In May 3, 2016

The design for the Cohen Residence was an adaption by Brook-Kothlow and Hodgin Architects, from a house designed in the mid-seventies by George Brook-Kothlow. The original house was built, but later demolished. This home and the Trainer Residence are the two residential projects George was working on when he died in September of 2012.

The home is designed to be a Net Zero Energy home, with all the electricity and heat provided by photovoltaics. The house also features a water catchment system with a 30,000 gallon storage tank.

Join us at Garland Ranch Park [meet in the parking lot]
From Highway 1, head east on Carmel Valley Road for 8.6 miles. Garland Ranch Regional Park’s main entrance will be on your right.
