The MPC Marina Education Center is the first phase of the new MPC campus intended to better serve North County and Salinas residents. The Project occupies approximately 12 acres of former Ft. Ord land in the City of Marina deeded to MPC through the Base Realignment and Closure Commission (BRAC).
The initial phase involves the construction of the first of several anticipated “quads” or courtyart groupings. The Quad concept allows the campus to be built in phases while appearing “complete” at the completion of each phase.
The tour will highlight sustainable systems and materials, and classroom design incorporating technology for computer based instruction.
