It is with sadness to share the news that Alden Barstad passed away in August. Alden had his own firm in Salinas and was president of
AIA Monterey Bay in 1985.
His architectural contributions to the Monterey area include:
CHISPA; Security Pacific Bank; Bank of Tokyo; City of Salinas (Fire Station #1); The Bluffs; Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd; remodeling of The Salinas Golf & Country Club and Healey Mortuary. His office was the Planner for the 1500 acre Las Palmas Ranch project.
