The talk will include immediate steps that can be taken to reduce a building’s carbon footprint when specifying concrete and explain how to prioritize design strategies to get the greatest carbon footprint reductions in carbon footprint by utilizing using current technologies and design tools. We will discuss how to develop concrete specifications that are attainable and have positive impact. We will discuss the importance of early design collaboration and buy-in among all parties.
