SUMMARY:Architecture by the Book
DESCRIPTION:Sign your child up for Architecture by the Book\, an exciting new architectural education program from the California Architectural Foundation (CAF). CAF is excited to be partnering with AIA Monterey Bay at the AIA CA Monterey Design Conference (MDC) to provide a special children’s program focusing on architect Julia Morgan\, FAIA. Attendees will explore her work through a book reading\, hands-on activities\, and engaging presentation led by Polly Osborne\, FAIA and a team of volunteers. All ages are welcome\, and the lesson will be tailored to fit the age of the children attending. \nDate: Saturday\, October 26\, 2024\nTime: 12 noon – 1:30 pm\nLocation: Asilomar Conference Grounds 800 Asilomar Blvd\, Pacific Grove\nCheck in at the MDC Registration area.\nCost: FREE\, light refreshments provided \nRegister by clicking here by Oct 14th \nAttendees do not need to be registered for MDC to participate\, but must register via this link to receive a guest badge to enter the grounds.
