Nancy Budd officially became the Executive Director
of the AIAMB on July 14. She is also President of Temporary Sanity,
a strategic
marketing/advertising company and executive assistance provider.
Nancy
moved to the Monterey area in 2001, after spending 25 years in
the marketing and advertising industry in Southern California. She
was formerly a Senior Vice President for Foote, Cone & Belding,
Chiat/Day, and BBDO, three of the largest advertising agencies
in the U.S. She also served as a General Manager for the Los Angeles
Times
and an Account Executive for Comcast Advertising Sales here in
Monterey.
She has been a Board Member of Friends of Griffith Observatory
and The Organization of Women Executives in Los Angeles. She
is currently
a Member of the Board and Marketing Director for the Forest Theater
Guild in Carmel, and a member of the Marketing and Adopt-A-Business
Committees for the Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce.
Founded
in 1993, Temporary Sanity also has assignments for administrative
assistance with Eric Miller, AIA and Jeanne C. Byrne, FAIA.
Nancy welcomes the opportunity to once again work in a creative-based
industry and
looks forward to meeting the members at monthly meetings and
